The Salvation Prayer
The Salvation Prayer
Salvation begins with a confession of faith — a heartfelt turning to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The salvation prayer is not a formula but a surrender: acknowledging our sin, believing that Jesus died and rose again, and inviting Him to be the Lord of our lives. If you have never prayed this prayer, do so now, knowing that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
“If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
— Book of Romans Chapter 10 Verse 9
Heavenly Father, I come before You confessing that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. I ask Your forgiveness for every thought, word, and deed that has separated me from You. Thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, whose blood cleanses me from all unrighteousness. I confess Him as my Lord and Savior, and I receive my adoption as Your child. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and teach me to walk in the spiritual authority You have entrusted to me. May my life reflect the reality of who I now am in Christ. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
